OT - Need some Palm advice - OT

I've never used a PDA, but I'm tired of lugging my laptop everywhere. I'm thinking of getting a Palm V. Will I see a performance difference between a Palm V and a Vx? (My address book includes about 350 entries, and I plan to use the calender and email capabilities primarily.)

I'll proabably buy a seperate modem primarily for email

Informed thoughts and advice on model selection would be appreciated by PM.
