current PDAs are low margin. third generation based PDA's are high margin relative to the (a) significantly increased functionality as proposed by both EDGE and UMTS and (b)next generation chips (TXN) which significantly decrease the number of operational elements. you're right, though. two different worlds. Dell is planning for functional products in the third generation space...they're keeping the plans fairly tight; what do you know about it?
