B.A. Wayne, I'm not sure if this is what you were looking for.But here it is. I've been a stockholder in CDT awhile. They seem like a company intent on being a major player in the cable industry, as they keep buying up the competition. I think based on earnings the stock is a bargain. Anyway, good luck.

NORDX/CDT's IBDN Category 5 Structured Cabling System Exceeds Tough New PowerSum Crosstalk Standards
NORDX/CDT warrants PowerSum Crosstalk compliance for IBDN Certified System Category 5 installations; Extensive testing proves that the current IBDN Category 5 System surpasses new PowerSum Crosstalk requirements
MONTREAL, May 5 /PRNewswire/ -- NORDX/CDT Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of Cable Design Technologies (CDT) Corporation (NYSE:CDT - news) today announced that it has completed extensive PowerSum verification testing of its IBDN Category 5 cables and end-to-end structured cabling system. Test results clearly indicate that the IBDN Plus and IBDNFlex Plus Category 5 cables exceed the recently established PowerSum Crosstalk performance requirements. Similarly, the IBDN Category 5 Certified System utilizing the IBDN Plus and IBDNFlex Plus cables surpass PowerSum Category 5 Crosstalk requirements on an end-to-end basis.
``It is extremely gratifying to prove that our original, very demanding design and performance specifications for IBDN cables and end-to-end systems continue to surpass even newly introduced industry standards.'' said Paul Kish, Manager of IBDN Systems and Standards at NORDX/CDT. ``While some cable manufacturers are just now introducing new cables to meet PowerSum Category 5 Crosstalk performance requirements, NORDX/CDT's IBDN Plus and IBDNFlex Plus cables have exceeded this new industry performance standard all along'', added Kish.
``NORDX/CDT's position has always been that fully integrated end-to-end cabling systems such as our IBDN System, offer inherently superior performance to cabling networks assembled from various manufacturer's components. Some vendors are now claiming PowerSum Crosstalk performance using enhanced Category 5 cables and enhanced components. The IBDN System meets PowerSum Crosstalk performance whether installed with standard IBDN Category 5 cables and connectivity or our recently introduced IBDN enhanced Category 5 cables.'' said Serge Laporte, Vice President of Marketing at NORDX/CDT. ``Our long term Warranty and Lifetime Application Assurance programs for IBDN Certified Systems demonstrate our strong belief and commitment to the end-to-end concept,'' added Laporte.
End-to-end PowerSum Crosstalk compliance is an important consideration in the support of future networking protocols. A cabling system is considered to meet Category 5 PowerSum NEXT (near end crosstalk) requirements if the worst pair PowerSum NEXT meets the requirements currently specified for worst pair- to-pair NEXT, currently specified in the TIA standard: TIA-EIA-568A, Annex E, and also TSB-67.
``It is important for Network Managers to be assured that the end-to-end performance of their cabling system meets the minimum PowerSum Category 5 requirements for high-speed applications. Otherwise they are in danger of having to replace their infrastructures when the time comes to migrate to next generation protocols.'' said Paul Kish, Manager of IBDN Systems and Standards for NORDX/CDT. ``That's the key point to consider when installing a cabling system and that's the message we want to bring forth with our IBDN structured cabling system.''
The NORDX/CDT cable PowerSum compliance testing and verification was done through ETL Testing Laboratories of Cortland, NY. The cabling was tested on 48 different channels, using many different combinations of IBDN components in both short and long link configurations, concluding that the cabling is in accordance with TIA/EIA TSB-67 standards for end-to-end PowerSum system performance.
The IBDN end-to-end Category 5, PowerSum system and components are available from NORDX/CDT's authorized distributors and Certified Systems Vendors (CSV).
