Trindy, As Bill F. has been saying for weeks, Dell had the guns this time to fake a mediocre quarter on the eps number. That is why I haven't held any puts for awhile, as expectations have fallen so much on Dell (except in the PE ratio, of course) that mediocre will be construed as gangbusters. However, the bag of tricks is now close to empty and next quarter will be a disaster.

Basically, Dell, Gateway, Hewlett and Compaq had one free quarter where IBM was exiting the retail space and they divvied up their market share. That is now past tense and unless somebody else gives up the ghost, it is game, set and match for the Round Rock Scamsters.
