I haven't looked at the HP Kayak site. Does it say that they're doing 2+2 boards?

I looked at HP site last fall. All XU600 were 2 RIMM sockets Models were available with RDRAM above 700 MHz; SDRAM using DIMM riser board below 700 MHz. Now they are all RDRAM regardless of model.

We are still debating is wheather RDRAM is 2.5% of computer market or at best 3%.

I haven't seen any indication that RDRAM will move out of hi end marketplace into mainstream. This transfirmation will become easy to spot.

Price and availability of RIMM modules.
