Win2K is pretty much a port from 32 to 64 bit at this point wrt IA-64

Unfortunately the compiler cannot automatically correct errors such as casting a pointer down to a 32 bit quantity. There will still be a lot of manual cleanup required on the codebase and associated regression testing.

I would guess that we will see an initial beta that just has core function (capable of running file/web servers etc) and we will see all the extensions (multimedia, telephony, conferencing...) as subsequent betas as they are stabilized.
