Didn't you read the news? Someone (many, many someones) thought Comcast made a $48 bid for ATHM. Market rumors flew. dailynews.yahoo.com But it wasn't true and the dust settled. Yeah, 60 million shares traded, but look what happened. Spike to $28 and settled under $20. Can't tell me that wasn't manipulation by someone at the expense of lemmings who leaped before they looked.
