I spent all *&^%! night editing (well, rewriting) a manuscript on Colombia's civil war. Didn't leave the office til 6:30 am. Much of the evening and night I was desperately searching for creative ways to procrastinate and divert myself from the task at hand... got a little punchy, I'm afraid...started seeing song titles everywhere...don't know how the author will respond when he sees the galleys, with subheads like the following: (for a section on a proposed $1.7 billion U.S. aid package) "Send Lawyers, Guns, and Money" (for a section on combatting narcotraffickers) "I Want A New Drug Policy" ctb/A
