tommysdad, this is Novartis trusting Vertex to make the right decisions throughout the drug discovery process. Who has heard of such a thing? Ciba (now, Novartis) and CHIR, November, 1994? The idea then was that they were going to trust CHIR to make the right decisions in biotech... Not a criticism of VRTX, just noting the parallel. biowa
