Cala Corporation Retains KPMG to Form Cala Institute

OKLAHOMA CITY, May 12, 2000 /PRNewswire via COMTEX/ --  Cala Corporation (OTC
Bulletin Board: CCAA) today announced that the worldwide business consulting
firm KPMG has been retained, and has completed preliminary applications, in the
formation of the Cala Institute as a non-profit organization.

The Cala Institute will be housed in the Undersea Resort & Casino, currently
under development by the Cala Corporation. The purpose of this newly formed
non-profit will be to expose disadvantaged youth to vertical hospitality service
and management. The Cala Institute will draw young people from all sectors of
society, from both rural and urban backgrounds. Joseph Cala, Chairman and CEO of
Cala Corporation, stated that students would be trained at to provide
unparalleled service at every level of the hospitality industry.
