When a stock goes from 39 to mid-teens in a short time while earnings are beginning to explode, it is easy to understand frustration. For some it may even be easy to forget or ignore that the stock was range-bound at lower levels for years and that the startling run-up in last year's 4Q brought all options into the money at the same time that the warrants were exercised. This will impact quarterly comparisons throughout this year. This is in the market price today and then some. Many have ignored the short-term nature of this and some have even ignored the additional capital which the company raised which will support growth beyond that which is forecast in the analysts current projections. Will the revenue growth exceed current estimates? IMO VARL's current customer base and product portfolio augur for growth beyond the estimates which are not meager growth. Further, this could go on for quite awhile and continue to accelerate as we are only beginning to see the start of broadband wireless and 3G will be very huge. The investment community will recognize this and bid the price of the stock up. When? I sure don't profess to know, but based on what happened late last year I don't want to be out of stock and trying to accumulate a position when it does happen. Am I willing to wait 9 months to a year more? You betcha! And as I get more $ I get more shares on the cheap; I only wish I could afford to take out all those who are unhappy.
