There is no real arbitrage in HWP vs A.
There are 4 Stock types.
HWP - good ol HWP, HWP cum Agilent shares
HWP WI - HWP shares ex the Agilent shares.
A - Agilent shares pre-dividend the ones that went up ~ 20.00% today
A WI (supposedly) - Agilent shares deliverable after the dividend only (I have not managed to find these).

If anyone can find all 4 and find a backwardation good luck.
Apart from that there is no arbitrage. By that I mean risk-free arbitrage.

A went up over 25.00% today as it was recommended by George Gilder, and there were probably a lot of guys playing it short. The lock-up has expired, but these shares are effectively embedded in HWP, so will not be coming to market till the US post delivers the certificates after June 2.

Good luck
