The main reason for the halt was the volatility of the stock, as far as I know. I think that it is ridiculous to question the validity of the results in this post-Bre-x era, especially in Canada, with so much at stake for the principals involved. If in fact some whole cores were sent, it was no doubt because the cores were so friable and we forget that a smaller drill was used, making it even more difficult to split the core. Anyway, so what? This can be reproduced with larger drills which the company has on site now. We tend to forget that we have just gone through the worst bear market in the junior resource sector, and Wayside has survived: in order to do so it had to operate on a string, and, in spite of adverse financial conditions, it managed to prove up a significant gold reserve, prior to this discovery .
Also, take a look at MSQ and ABB. They are moving up, not down. Does that suggest a serious problem? I don't think so.
It seems strange to have new people show up on this thread as happens so often, anyway, warning us of the dangers ahead on this stock. Sounds very familiar, short-sellers??
I look at the glass as 80 % full. If they have a major discovery which many believe that they do, it really doesn't matter what you or I or anybody say on this thread or any other for that matter.
