Mr Fun and TechPlayer, I read the posts on this thread and the Nortel and Cisco threads everyday. The article in lightreading was the first time I heard that Nexabit was a total failure. First, Lucent missed the market move to 10Gbps and then acquired a complete lemon in Nexabit for $750 million. Yes, LU has a lower PE and lower Price Sales ratio but I keep waiting for some indication the company has some competent management. I am also wondering about the technical expertise of Bell Labs. If they are so good, why didn't they develop a terabit router. Why couldn't the techs at Bell Labs know that Nexabit was a lemon. I don't want to overstate the case. I would like to buy some LU but there is nothing in the news to convince me the company has turned around. Compared to NT and CSCO, they had an inferior quarterly report.
