TP, some of your statements are somewhat overstated.

CSCO owns the enterprise and will not be displaced

NT has been licensing this SW for over a year

Since LU is now shipping a 10G product, how did they miss the market (you seem to be confused...they missed 1 quarter)?

Oh, and btw, the % ownership in Avici is far less than 20% at this point. tp

Cisco dominates the enterprise. They do not own the enterprise. In fact, NTs revenues in the enterprise are growing although slowly.

Open IP is a rather recent initiative. Only recently, did over 200 companies commit to the initiative.

NT has dominated the 10G market for the past one and one-half years, not one quarter. There is no good evidence that LUs 10 G product is as
good as NTs 10 G product. Only time will tell.

Look at last quarterly reports of NT and Cisco. NTs growth was just as good as Cisco.

Do you have a link to some article or report showing NT owns less than 20% of Avici?
