techtonicbull, On WSW, Ed Brown said he recommended buying the "real" companies with earnings, solid cash positions, etc. vs. the dot coms, which have been exposed. He said Sun and Oracle were two he liked that met the former criteria, and that they were good buys especially after their recent dips.
John Kim started off saying he's gone to neutral as an elf, with a bearish leaning I thought, and Rukeyser picked up on that, saying 'why don't you declare yourself an outright bear.' Kim said there's too much money on the sidelines that wants to get back in, and that will keep the DOW from sliding. He's more bearish on the Nasdaq, but when asked what he'd buy, he said good semi companies like Intel and AMAT. Medium to long term, Kim is still bullish.
