Any ideas on how I can overcome the system resources limitation on a PC? I run a 733 MHz PIII with 512MB RDRAM and a 37.5 gig HD. If I have a lot of programs open and I try to do a scan, I get the "Not enough memory" error message. I have to do a CTRL-ALT-DEL and shut down several programs before I do the scan.

This is annoying - both because it slows me down and also because there apparently has not been any progress between my old 200 MHz machine and this one, even though this one is considerably more expensive. The manufacturer of course just tells me to keep doing what I am doing.

Has anybody come up with a better solution for these pesky "inadequate system resources."

Thanks,

George D.
