winston,

Frankly it doesn't matter if the core was split or not.

Given the potential liability AND new reporting standards as accepted by various professional geoscience organizations, and adopted by various stock exchanges, to provide guidelines and rules for reporting, it does indeed matter. As I stated previously, no professional consultant or consulting company will endorse assay results without split samples for verification. Most important, its in shareholders best interests. Thankfully the property is located in Canada, where new securities and professional reporting regulations and standards will prevail. By the way, can you tell us the name of the assay lab? Hopefully it is one that is well known and recognized by the exploration and mining industry and not some back alley lab in Surrey with a new secret assay method that can detect gold in samples that no other recognized assay laboratory can.
