Congratulations on your publishing an editorial in your hometown newspaper. That's something to be proud of, I agree. My publication was in a national magazine with, at the time, a circulation of three million. But that doesn't mean it was written any better than what I'm sure was your very well-stated editorial in your hometown newspaper.
But I give you a lot of credit for your ironic use of "creditials," though (it was ironic, wasn't it SLUSMA?). I guess you understand the meaning of irony, after all. Good for you.
