- in reference to NITE's upcoming ownerhip in nasdaq itself, can someone tell me if this means huge $$$'s down the road?

- specifically, I believe every nasdaq firm pays various fees to the exchange; & the exchnage makes a ton of money (I assume); so if NITE owns a good chunk, wouldn't it stand to reason that this w/b another good revenue enhancer?

- "JERSEY CITY, N.J., April 26 /PRNewswire/ -- Knight/Trimark Group, Inc. (Nasdaq: NITE), the largest wholesale market maker in U.S. equity securities, announced today that it has decided to subscribe fully to Nasdaq's private placement. As the largest market maker in Nasdaq securities, Knight believes that the private placement will provide sufficient funding to upgrade Nasdaq's infrastructure and technology."
