Hi

Was prompted to dig out my old tech. analysis books.

Without knowing the actual daily figures, positive and negative for OBV plus the various fields, which would show whether or not there is accumulation or distribution, I can only go by the larger OBV chart.

First, there is a "out-of gear" movement between the OBV and price--a nonconfirmation. Often such out of sync movements tend to confirm significant turning points. Often with non-confirmations there can be dramatic swings in the opposite direction---in this case upward. (Please note I am not saying this is the case with GNET)

There is also the possibility of the OBV getting into line with the price decline---then we would have a confirmation and the price would go much lower. (Again, only theory.)

If we are in a true bear market then we would experience the last paragraph. On the other hand if this is, believe it or not, a shakeout cycle in a bull market then we would see a gradual rebound and higher prices as the bull market resumes.

Also, looking at the OBV over the past year, we did have a nonconfirmation on the upside when the OBV did not go significantly higher and the price broke down. As a technician one would have sold around 65----I did not sell my few hundred shares but did write a call on them.

The call assures a little extra while I wait on a stock which I believe is ultimately a good one to be in.

If there is someone who deals with OBV in actually adding and subtracting the OBV on a daily basis and looks at the OBV fields then one could make a closer call on which direction GNET is going. Anyone out there with this information and expertise could be helpful.
