I agree that Microsoft should comply with the law as well as benefit by it, and I believe it does. Until the case is actually settled and due process takes its course, I will support the company's position because, based on my personal experience, I believe it to be true.

If the appeals court rejects the ruling with anywhere near the same forcefulness as Jackson's last (writ of Mandamus stating improper process), the DOJ may be left with nothing but mud on its face. There's no way to determine the outcome now, so I guess we'll have to wait a while to find out.
