Voop, after having looked at WIND and ELON and VRTL, all embedded software companies (well ELON may be more of a composite of hardware/software) I have been struck by the huge value chains that companies like WIND and VRTL create but equally as perplexed by the lack of hyper-growth. Both WIND and VRTL are talking 30-35 maybe 40% growth.

Now compare this with embedded hardware companies of which you can probably name at least 10 that are in hyper-growth.

Now my question is, why is this so? Is the money paid for embedded software on a run-time basis so small that a true Tornado will be unlikely to form, or has the market, no matter how many wins and partners WIND or VRTL announce, just not reached sufficient mass to produce a Tornado.

I am honestly perplexed because looking that the value chains these leading embedded software companies are nearly irresistable to the point of almost being teases.
