Okey-doke, Mr chalu. I have a better idea. Why don't YOU, in the name of "what's best for society," bring up an amendment that will indicate, with no ambiguity, that the Constitution is nothing but BS, the 2nd amendment is crap, and that we are all willing to bow towards Mecca three times a day.
If you think this is so by-golly important, stand up for your beliefs! Do something! Pass an amendment (what, number 27?) that says "Jerks with guns will be rounded up by our Gestapo, and incinerated. Only Communists and Left Wing lawyers will be excluded from this decree."
I could make it apply more specifically you, pard, but I don't want this to get too personal. So, If you really care about what you claim to believe, why aren't you out there DOING SOMETHING?
Oops, just occured to me: maybe you're one of the main leaders of 'the "I'd rather be a victim, I'm really stupid, please hurt me" ten percent of a million' mom's march.
Go back to your Washington DC hole, chalu, where you can confuse things that we know are right into major policy issues. You seem to have misunderstood -- this is a thread where THINKING people gather; you don't belong.
Stick to your liberal threads, and you will always have the mindless support you desire. People who have a brain don't need you.
And, as a final request, please stay on YOUR side of the Mississippi river. Me and mine don't want you here in OUR part of the country. Well, OK, we'll accept you, IF you are willing to abide by the US Constitution. That's a pretty sure way to make sure you'll stay on the East Coast.
