Guns are just the latest Democratic Party mainstream media scare mongering issue sent out in order to limit our freedom, and give more control to the omnipotent central government which they love. I mean really, do you lay awake at night or have a passing fear of guns inflicting your children? I sure don't. Of course, I've never owned a gun and never felt the need to own one. But if I ever did, I would like the freedom to go and purchase one. When I do have a passing worry about my kids it normally centers around abduction, or child molestation, or getting involved in a car accident. Not whether they will get shot with a gun. If the 50 or 100 thousand moms marching today really wanted to have a positive impact on gun safety, they would be holding signs saying, "Let's enforce current laws on the books regarding the illegal use of guns, and get rid of liberal politicians and judges who have been soft on crime for decades". Passing more laws which are not enforced is TOTALLY meaningless! But it plays into the politics of fear Democrats have honed for decades into a science. Michael
