It is pretty obvious to me that LU has severly handicapped management when compared to NT and CSCO.

And even for a big company with as much history and connections as LU, bad management will destroy a company rich with assets and history over time -- ESPECIALLY IN THE HIGH-TECH FIELD.

To state that a billion write-off (Nexabit) is no big-deal is to completely miss the point that oportunity cost is the bigger loss to LU. Cost is more than just acquisition. There is also the cost of integrating the product/technology and the staff at Nexabit. When a product turns out to be a dud, the repercussions are felt in much more areas (both short and long-term) than just writing off 750 mill.

Techplayer, LU has lost tremenodous ground in the past year in the two most important growth sector which will DEFINE networking technology for the next decade; OPTICS and WIRELESS.

Why do you continue to show so much faith and confidence in LU?
