Well, I heard that and see where you're coming from, but that wasn't in my mind. I'll tell you why: in part, because a severe beating from Roy Jones, Jr., is not like a beating from Mike Tyson, Lennox Lewis, or a typical heavy - it's a "tapping to death," an attritive process that is at times, hard to see the effects of until the final wilting coup de grace is landed. I personally, still seeing Hall (agreed, a heavyweight mostly by virtue of his heart) throwing jabs and weaving, thought he still had some fight in him.

I also thought that the final 11th round beating in the corner was where I, too, would have stopped it; at that time - again, to me, many others may disagree - it was evident to me that blows were landing unopposed and that the contest had reached a point of absurdity.

Mr. mark, I was going to ask you: what do you think of the HBO comments regarding Jones' inability to demonstrate his skills with the current stable of light-heavyweight competitors; and, pursuant to that, what do you think of the idea (and feasibility) of translating those skills, that power and speed to the mainstream heavyweight venue. Roy Jones Jr. vs. Lewis, Holyfield, Tyson, Tua, Rahman, et al?
