X, the machine of state has ALREADY interposed itself. The mother brought her child here. The mother didn't make it, but the child was safely delivered, WHERE THE MOTHER WANTED HIM. Now, the government wants to change that. One thing that is key is the dialog between the mother and the child. Did they discuss where they would be living when they got to the United States? Did they discuss what would happen if the mother did not make it? Did they discuss that possibility? We have no way of knowing, but I hope these are some of the questions being asked.
