Hey Cowgirl, yes I do have a fair amount of the Cherokee blood in me. Tahlequah is indeed the capitol of the Cherokee nation.

I have Oklahoma roots, but moved out of there as a child and grew up in the Seattle area. Not to disparage that area, but when I go back to visit relatives, I am reminded how lucky I am. My little ole Cherokee Grandma is just about to leave us, and to think that her parents, my great grandparents, were sharecroppers and worked themselves to death by their mid 30's....the evolution just blows my mind.

As one of my fun, favorite bands, The Blackbyrds say: "Time is movin' on, you better get with it, 'cause it will soon be gone."

Happy Mothers Day....I am not female, but I have been called a Mother a few times. Scott
