Draxis Health also made strong gains in the late session. ASD Systems (ASDS: news, msgs) transformed itself with a new name and product offering. Shares jumped 22 percent to 3 3/8 as the most active issue on Island ECN. The company changed its name to Ascendant Solutions and introduced an order-management platform for online, catalog and traditional retail businesses. Ascendant closed up 7/16, or 19 percent, to 2 ó on volume of 418,000 shares. Average daily volume is 194,000 shares.
