Hi Tim,

This is a very difficult time. The markets's cross currents are ambiguous at best. Cohu is suffering from sell-off pressure but then in small spurts buying props it up on small volume.

I think William O'Neil has it right. This market is dangerous until volume confirms that institutional buying is back. So far all we've seen is institutional selling.(Selling on the rally's).

In the past Cohu has formed (my term only ) a glideslope. It dips and pops ad then retests it's low(Cohu always retests a low-my guess is 30 +- so I wouldn't be surprised to see it do 28 1/2). Cohu then has a last hurrah MOMO rally up to about 85% - 90 % of it's past high. This retest is very slow and looks very weak.In the past Excellent earnings have been the igniter of this last rally. This past double top has been quite reliable - even when the asian contagion came on - it was very reliable.

With the future business cycle appearing very robust ,I just have to think that a rally approaching the past highs or greater is a good possibility ( even if it takes til september).

One thing for sure is valuations aren't real high, but they aren't real low.I'm taking the approach that any money invested is ok ,if it becomes a long term investment. That being said ,I've had a quick trigger to exit with any gains.

The bottoms are getting higher and I think a retest of thirty is coming and the highs are dropping. Not a good scenario - but it could turn on a dime.BWDIK

Comfortable with a small position and hoping it drops to a rediculous low so I can reload the truck.

I still think the small cap market has a good possibility of showing a final blow-off strength:http://www.siliconinvestor.com/research/comp_chart.gsp?cs=INDU&cs=COMPX&cs=inx&cs=iux&cs=&cs=&cs=&n=100&p=day

Notice how the Russell 2000 still is the only index with a ytd gain - and it looks like it will be the first out of the gate if a rally with volume developes. That being the case we'll be very glad we bought the dips on Cohu. JMHO
