I can't resist this one.

I don't think our species has laws ... or "built-in" moral axioms.
Most recently, in North Korea children were routinely stripped out of their homes and put in a state-run boarding school situation. Most people agree that a family has extensive rights over child-rearing choices. But that hasn't been a universal thing in history. Morality is what we make it.
