Bill:

I think the critical Q4 number is going to be PALM's revenues, they have to show that the Y/Y growth rate and business momentum is still there, particularly after the upside surprise in Q3. IMO, the EPS will not be so important because everyone is expecting PALM to be spending heavily on building out the corporate infrastructure (consenus is for break even, range from loss of 0.01 to profit of 0.03, but only 6 analysts).

COMS EPS estimates are all over the place - consensus (mean) is a loss of 0.15, but the range is from a loss of 0.61 to a profit of 0.33, meaning no-one really has a clue. So I'm not sure COMS Q4 earnings will affect things that much.

I agree on PALM. I am also confident that the 12 month estimates of 70-80 are realistic. We just need to get the next 8 weeks over with so PALM can become untethered.
