What do you know about my position that allows to make that prediction? For you to say that ASSUMES an awful lot about where my money is. You have assumed that my principal is still at risk and that I have taken no profits. That is precisely the condescending tone that I have pointed out to you is so distasteful to all on this thread. Secondly, if you think you'll be dead when the Dow or Naz hits 100,000 assumes quite a bit, too. Considering it took the Dow about 30 years to achieve 10 times the level it was when it first hit 1000, I'd say it's a likely bet that it would happen again in 30 years. I'm sure that, barring catastrophe, I'll be quite alive and well, and hope you are, too. I make no assumptions of the nature you do. And I am prepared for all eventualities. BTW, as for your inflation figures...did you notice wholesale prices this week? -.3%, giving back gains from the previous 2 months. Not a trend, but certainly an indicator.
