Rarebird:Rampant Inflation and Sluggish Growth is around the corner

ikegodsey:your thoughts are not those of the mainstream, but i wonder why they can't see it..

Seeing something that doesn't exist yet, is prophetic. But if it then never occurs, does the prophet only become a liar? Suggestion that rampant inflation and sluggish growth is around the corner is to assume certain events and conditions which aren't implied as of yet. The conditions which lead to the second world war were well in place during the first world war.

But the economy is a liken to that of a Dragon: "Whilst you pull upon his tail, fire streams from his head. Take care as he takes to flight, as the landing can be hard. His scales are like sheets of amour, and he wears a crown of pikes. Beware as he turns as he may devour you."

Dragon are naturally near sighted. To approach you must move slowly as to blend within the background. This is what occurred in 1987 with M2, M3, and rates. The FED was so far behind the yield curve that they HAD to play catch up. Flash forward to today where the FRB is acting on inflation by Fed fund rates, M2 and other components. Neigh the Dragon is well feed and shall live for more years.

PS: It should be noted that their is a direct connection between Dragons and Gold. When was the last time you seen a Golden Dragon?
