Tnks Dennis: Telstra CDMA rollout is all the more significant in that it has incumbent AMPS and GSM mobile networks. CDMA build-out originally intended to supplant analog portion of the Telstra combined networks and to provide additional capacity in spectrum constrained major cities; fact that it moves immediately to test CDMA 2000 indicates possibility that it is considering replacing the GSM network entirely as it moves to higher data throughput systems.
