I am also thinking of taking a screening exam. I was wondering, if you get an unacceptable calcium score, is there anything a person can do, short of a bypass operation or other medical interventions, to reverse the course of the calcium buildup? For example, will changes in one's life style (eating habits, exercise, smoking, etc.) help to reduce the calcium levels? How does calcium buildup relate to cholesteral levels?

I would appreciate any info that you can offer on this subject.
