Hi, perhaps you already know about this, but there is a "workspace hotkey setup" or something like that under the File menu. You can switch quickly between up to 10 workspaces, within one QCharts session, by hitting Ctrl-<number>.

Since you're asking if you can reduce CPU usage by minimizing workspaces, I assume you're not looking at all 4 at the same time. I've got 10 different workspaces setup and flip between them constantly.
