Jerry Douglas is on about 80% of the CDs I buy these days.
It seems like he lives in the studio and they only let him
out to gig. I'm dying to hear him play with Jorma. Jay
reccomended that Tony Rice disc Backwaters. I listened
to another Tony Rice Unit CD that he reccomended over the
weekend that I hadn't gotten to, Manzanita. It was also good
but it's pretty straight ahead bluegrass with vocals. I like
the vocalless "jazzgrass" on Backwaters a lot better.
