Motorola Ships C-Cube Microsys Component In Set-Top Boxes 05/15/2000 Dow Jones News Service (Copyright (c) 2000, Dow Jones & Company, Inc.) NEW YORK -(Dow Jones)- Motorola Inc. (MOT) agreed to integrate C-Cube Microsystems Inc.'s (CUBED) AViA@TV silicon component in interactive digital set-top boxes. In a press release Monday, C-Cube said the set-top boxes have begun shipping to European broadband network operators. The set-top deployment is part of a network upgrade to two-way communications that will allow cable operators to provide subscribers with integrated video, telephony and the Internet over the Motorola system and set-top boxes.
