so are you using ABW direct access or browser-based? and market orders? I usually place limit orders and my ssllllooowwww browser broker (for my IRA where I trade Qs) return confirmations relatively fast. I have a direct access broker for non-IRA, but I rarely trade stocks there (mostly options)
