...whom people he is refering to... --- Me. --- Believe it or not, there are people in this country that do not hold MSFT equity. Although it was at the brink of becoming a country of the MSFT shareholders, for the MSFT shareholders and *by the MSFT shareholders, that wasn't exactly what our founding fathers had in mind. --- I would find being robbed by the Government a refreshing change from being robbed by M$. --- Although the government wants us to upgrade every four years, it doesn't cost as much, is compatible with the previous version and we get to CHOOSE something. -JCJ<
Then stop using MSFT product. In couple hours, Install Linux or OS/2 Warp (I think it is still around) or PC-DOS, Install Corel Office Pro, Corel Draw, Netscape .... You will have MSFT free and you can just about do anything MSFT software does for a lot less. So JJ is a moran for calling MSFT is monopoly. Anyone can have alternative to MSFT if he or she wants to. MSFT owns the market because PEOPLE wants it that way, the rest can use the alternative above.
For all the people who bought the PC with Windows preloaded and not using it, then return the PC to the PC maker and build your own. You did not pay MSFT directly then you should not get refund from MSFT either. The same analogy goes for buying a car that have the leather seat that you don't want, then make a choice:
1. Buy a different car. 2. Build your own. 3. Don't buy it and use your own car. 4. Buy the car and throw the seats away and put your own seats in but don't expect that Ford/GM/MB-Chrysler ... to give you a refund because you did not use the leather seats. BTW, it would be silly to sue the seat manufacturer to refund you for the leather seat that you did not want, wouldn't it???
