Don, getting back to the volume issue, lets look at AE. I bought it this morning rounding out my bet on natural gas. I previously bough CHK and a natural gas mutual fund.

Can we use this stock as a test on the volume theory? My opinion is that it's possible to make money on a stock that's not going to trade very many shares per day. The ingredients replacing volume in this case are a hot sector and strong fundamentals.

AE has a tiny float and the avg. daily volume according to Yahoo is a whopping 5K!!!! Today was a banner volume day as over 13K whizzed by.

Volume aside, the technicals and the fundamentals are excellent. The technical picture is pretty obvious:
207.61.23.98

The PE is about 1/3 of its growth rate and its growth rate is equal to about 6 times its peer group's avg. AE was listed on Forbes Platinum 400 in January. Forbes 400 list includes stocks with sales greater than $750 million, strong revenue growth and return on capital ratios, and solid short-term and long-term earnings growth and cash flow per share.

I'm betting on the strengh of the sector to bring new investors to AE.

Sergio
