arno,

in case you haven't found the perfect combination for clearing the cookies from the temp int file...

this works great for me:

in explorer, open temp int file by clicking on the folder. click 'edit' on the upper task bar, then 'select all'. then click 'file' on the upper task bar, then 'delete'. you should receive one confirmation request dialog asking if you are sure. say yes and that should 86 them all in one shot.

btw, did you know that ie5.0 (and perhaps other versions too, but i'm just using 5.0) allows you to set it so that the temp int folder is emptied each time you close the browser? yep. the only thing is, it doesn't dump the cookies, just the temp files. but that's still a plus, imo!

to do this, select 'tools' at the top of the ie browser window. then 'internet options' and the 'advanced' tab. scroll down to the 'security' heading. there you'll find, "empty temporary internet files folder when browser is closed". check that box and remember to 'apply' and 'ok' your way out.

:)
