We live in a very imperfect world, filled with pitfalls and learning lessons. I do not believe it was his intention to "lead" Novell where it is today ... but instead has pursued a huge goal, and run into a huge roadblock. That situation is to be learned from, and does not dictate the future ... unless he chooses to allow it ...

And this is a possibility ...
But one suggestion ... your possibility has no more "chance" of success than the one that Eric is pursuing. The decision to "sell" does not "solve" anything ... it might, or it might not.
With Eric following a vision, I know that Novell is heading in a direction towards success ...
