Ten, a benchmark chart for 64 bit Unix servers that Rob Young put on the Sun thread. It seems that the company du jour to bash on performance lately is Sun, what with their (not so) UltraSparc III being late. ideasinternational.com Did you notice that those Wildfire servers are being sold in configurations ranging from 8-way to 32-way, and at price points between $100K and $2M? Wow, talk about high-margin, low-volume stuff. Welcome to the world of expensive machines. You don't have to sell a whole lot of them to make a lot of money. Tony
