Yes, I have many, many video tapes, going all the back to very early 1981, when we purchased our first VCR for about $850 believe it or not, and it was'nt even stereo! Blank tapes back then cost about $15+, but the price started going down fairly rapidly as the mid-1980's rolled around. I have over 1,000 recordings of all kinds (music, movies, regular TV shows, sports, etc, etc), and the video and sound quality improve on the tapes as the years go by. The average cost of just the blank tapes alone was about $5,000. I should have waited until today to make those 1,000+ tapes, because the blanks would have only cost me about $1,000 on sale. <g> So let's roll the video tapes! <G> Yogi |
