Jeff, Why are you doing real time visual flight sim? I'm curious because I see the future of instrument flying as the introduction of what I've heard has been called "synthetic vision." The onboard computer generates the visual picture the pilot would see if there were no clouds present using both an enormous database, a gps receiver and an attitude sensing device. I visited SGI a while back and inquired if they knew anything of this kind of work. They said no but I later heard Boeing was into it. Know anything about it? Thanks Bill
