Cytyc Files Suit Against Tripath For Misleading Info Dow Jones Newswires BOXBOROUGH, Mass. -- Cytyc Corp. (CYTC) filed a lawsuit against TriPath Imaging Inc. (TPTH), claiming the company distributed and continues to distribute false and misleading information to current and potential Cytyc customers. In a press release Monday, Cytyc said it's seeking monetary and injunctive relief. Tripath officials said it couldn't comment on the case because it hasn't received details of the lawsuit. The current suit follows a series of lawsuits filed by both companies primarily regarding patent infringements. Cytyc makes medical diagnostic application products. -Maria P.
