Glenn the data is coming from bloomberg. While I think recalling ppros is no big deal as you said because the company will most likely play it as one time charge of 2B or something like that. The impact on pII will be more severe, IMHO. While the actual monetary damage would be smaller the problem is really worse than it looks. One should consider that market expects intel to generate charge adjusted profit. But intel will have to used their production facilities to replace 7M ppros instead of producing high margin pII chips on top of possible time delays until the problem is fixed. in short:if intel is to replace chips then there is no way it can meet expectation even if they would be adjusted for profit. And that is a problem. Regards -Albert
